A coordinating committee comprised of representatives from numerous organizational partners provided overall direction and guidance for the Plan. Working with the coordinating committee, working groups for each of the eight sectors developed the Plan's strategies and tactics. The purpose of this study is to better understand why and how Organizational Partners chose to become involved in the NPAP. We conducted in-depth interviews with each member of the NPAP’s Coordinating Committee who represents an Organizational Partner. The information gained from these interviews may provide valuable insights for future efforts to build collaborative partnerships in physical activity and public health.
